Lance Brisson Chief Operating Officer

As part of his responsibilities as Chief Operating Officer, Lance Brisson oversees major accounts for the firm, many of which involve high stakes crisis situations. During his 25 years at Winner & Associates he has worked with corporate and other clients in the U.S., Europe, Africa and Asia in fields such as energy, finance, law, utilities, consumer rights, health care, investment banking, construction, transportation and technology.

Prior to joining Winner & Associates, Lance had broad experience in business, politics, government and journalism. He worked as a reporter for the Los Angeles Times, several national magazines and an ABC-owned and operated television station. His experience in journalism led to his being selected as a Congressional Fellow and working in staff positions on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., for a year.

After returning to California, Lance helped establish and was the first Chief Executive Officer of the Los Angeles Business Labor Council, an economic development corporation.

His government experience includes service as Vice President of the Los Angeles City Civil Service Commission, Commissioner on the Los Angeles City Telecommunications Commission, Senior Deputy to a Los Angeles County supervisor and a legislative aide to a member of the U.S. House of Representatives.

Lance is a member of the board of the Rosalind Russell Medical Research Center for Arthritis at the University of California at San Francisco and is former president of the Friends of the Griffith Park Observatory in Los Angeles.
